Reflection Days

Our reflection days aim to engage and inspire students, and ultimately bring them closer to Christ, using a combination of testimony, teaching, popular film clips, interactive activities, discussion, humour and prayer.

We are taking bookings from Term 3 2023 onward. Please get in touch to discuss how we can tailor our reflection days to your cohort.

Made for Greatness

Cohort: Co-ed years 9-12

As human beings we all long for happiness and love. The world bombards us with ideas on how to fulfill this desire: from curating our social media image, to living for the weekend, or seeking our fulfillment in others. But what if we’re made for so much more?

Drawing from personal stories, film and music, this reflection day explores how our desires can sometimes lead us astray and further from the people we’re made to be. Christ, instead, invites us to live life to the full through entering into relationship with Him and following His example of self-giving love. In taking up this call we can find true joy and realise the greatness we are made for!

Over the course of the day we will cover:

  • Our call to greatness
  • Trust in God
  • Human dignity
  • Love
  • Relationships
  • Pornography
  • Self-Image

What You’re Made For: Manhood, Marvel and Making it Count

Deep down every man knows they are made for heroic virtue, which is shown even through our culture where superhero movies are some of the most popular films going around.

Using characters from these films, we aim to inspire and lift men up to greater heights through the example of the ultimate man and hero, Jesus, who sacrificed his life for humanity.

Over the course of the day we will cover:

  • Our call to greatness
  • Virtue / positive habits
  • Repentance
  • Pornography
  • Manhood
  • Relationships
  • Trust in God
  • Self-gift
  • Hope
